MASSAAL KALM
When looking at aerial photographs of crowds, densely built residential areas, and industry, one thing that personally always strikes me is the unnatural naturalness. The three elements just mentioned are all not natural, yet the bird's-eye perspective somehow gives them a certain natural quality, making them appear suddenly organic. "Massively Calm" is a piece that aims to achieve that rhythm, regularity, and tranquility. It consists of four different experiments in which the final work is a combination of projection and analog work.
